About us

Who we are

Founded in 1925 and located in Birmingham, UK, the Zia Ul Ummah Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to offering complimentary education to disadvantaged youngsters in Pakistan.

The Zia ul Ummah Centre operates under the esteemed guidance of Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah, who is the son of the revered Pir Muhammad Karam Shah (1918-1998). In addition to his influential role at the centre, Pir Muhammad Amin Ul Hasnat Shah serves as the Chancellor of both the Al Karam International Institute and the Dar ul Uloom Muhammadia Ghousiya.

The vision for the Zia ul Ummah Centre extended beyond being a space for prayer. It was conceived as a sanctuary where individuals, regardless of their background or age, could find both knowledge and spiritual tranquility. At its heart, the centre aspired to foster a strong sense of community, welcoming people from all walks of life, and serving as a haven of enlightenment and serenity.
